When Jay Leno was recently burned working on one of his favorite collector ICE cars, an offer was made to convert it to EV. The ending all came out good and Jay is doing well.
One of ways to reduce the hazards of collecting vintage vehicles is to add all-electric in-wheel motors to move the vehicles around without having to ignite the ICE. Fumes, sounds and wear are reduced considerably!
A longtime friend and associate of Jay Leno's described the accident that caused Leno to suffer facial burns, saying a steam car in Leno's extensive collection sprayed gasoline on the comedian that then ignited. He also called Leno "a tough guy" and said the injuries are not life-threatening and "he will be okay." Leno himself issued a statement Monday also affirming that his injuries are not too serious.
A great 2023 to all!
