When a movie studio calls for creativity, they reach out everywhere and land in some unusual places. When it was time to fly, they electrified!
The ending may be sad yet much was learned on the set about removing the ICE components and having several stunt cars on the set. When it came to electric, the Auto Archives team were called from retirement to handle the conversion to an all-electric 1966 Thunderbird for it's clean, Greened retirement home. The other stunt cars were not so lucky and a LOT of old classics have been destroyed in the name of "entertainment" yet some make it out alive.
