The aircraft is the first product from TheArsenale’s Road to Air division, where the company’s CEO and founder Patrice Meignan envisions the future transport network to be in the sky. Buy one or choose from many here https://www.greentv.com/shop
“I have dedicated my life to the passion for mobility, and I continually explore all aspects of the moving world,” Meignan said. “After 25 years of forward-looking research, we believe that the icons of car culture are eternal, whether on earth or in the air.”
Powered by lithium polymer batteries that generate a total power of around 90,000 mAh, the companies claim the aircraft can fly at altitudes of 700 meters (2,300 feet), and a horizontal top speed of 26 meters per second.
Instead of wheels, the AIR4 features four two-blade propellers, one at each corner of the vehicle that can generate a total of 380 kilograms (838 pounds) of vertical thrust. Made entirely of carbon fiber, the body sits in the middle of the rota frame, and the pilot can access the cabin by lifting the front-hinged shell.
The AIR4 is currently on public display in Paris at the Atelier Renault on the Champs Elysées until the end of the year, before making its way to Miami and then New York in 2022.
