World's first this, that and now the claim to world's first Electric motorcycle with built in solar panels and dubbed the "Tesla of motorcycles. By who?
When a Green start-up recently wrote the story, our team drove right into the claims of solar helping to charge this little two-wheeler. And we didn't find much to back the claim to the world's first title. This is not to deny the company or it's write-up credit. We're just looking for facts.
And in my case, Greenwashing claims nearly killed me in 1995 so when a statement like the world's first anything comes along, I cringe and then go fact finding. All we ask is if you are claiming to be the Tesla of motorcycles and the world's first with built in solar panels, at least do a show and tell, maybe even a video on how this is supposed to be a game changer worthy of the the claims to fame.
Lets begin with the specifications from the Spy website and find just what the solar panel's do. Oh wait, nothing about solar panels. And built here in the good old USA? Not that we can find.
