A win for the battle against climate change and a win for one lucky raffle ticket owner!
At 5:00 pm 8.17.21, the computer pulled a name out of the hat and Lonnie Drake of Kansas won!
By Las Vegas standards, your odds were really pretty good. But no cigar. The winner instead was Lonnie Drake of Kansas. We’re happy for Lonnie! We have not gotten Lonnie on the phone yet but can only imagine what the reaction will be!

Why? Because the proceeds from each ticket you purchased go directly to funding the clean energy and transportation campaigns of the Chesapeake Climate Action Network (CCAN) Action Fund. So while you won’t have a new Tesla Model S Plaid in your driveway, you’ll have a better chance of living on a safe and healthy planet.
The raffle fundraiser was a great success. We sold all 4500 tickets and met our goal of raising over $675,000!
