Delaware, the First Green State

Delaware may be small yet it has been first at a lot of things. The biggest and oldest was becoming the first state to ratify the constitution in the United States in 1787! In 2019, Delaware has the opportunity to be the First State in going Green and secure that title by telling the world about it!

How can that be done? With the help of people of forward thinking Green people like those who have worked to put Delaware on the map for years in clean agriculture, air, water, energy, housing and transportation. We do not need laws altered or even the constitution changed to make Delaware the First State in going Green.

All is needed is your awareness, resources and to join those already working to accomplish this feat. Like anything worth doing, it comes with little bumps in advocating yet according to the U.S. State Department, expansion of the global green economy is forecast to be six times greater than the technology boom of the 1990s which saw the growth of the Internet and smart phones. That alone should awaken tourism, business development and other state leaders.

So, how do like-minds with interests in Delaware’s future take the lead? Lets take a que from the like-minds of 1787. A united front with united voices. Our forefathers and mothers had only the spoken, written words and horses. Today, we have the Internet. And we have multiple platforms or soap boxes to stand upon and show the future of the world our accomplishments that will secure Delaware as the First State once again.
